It’s painfully obvious that there is a lot of craziness in the Jackson family after the release of the letter that expressed some of the members were contesting Michael‘s estate and will last week. Some of it is truly unfortunate (such as the state his three children and whose watching over them) and some of it is just odd (the possible kidnapping and drugging of matriarch, Katherine).
The updates are seriously flowing like mad; there’s almost an interesting change by the hour. Here is the latest in the Jackson family saga. You can read on after the jump.
1. From Katherine’s own mouth:
Katherine finally broke her silence with ABC News, 10 days after leaving for her Arizona spa trip (which led to the initial report that she was missing and possibly kidnapped), saying that she just needed a vacation and that she chose not to use phones or any other means of communication: “One reason I didn’t call is I just gave up my phone and I didn’t want to have any phone calls while I was here.”
Um, one thing, Ms. Jackson: did you forget you were raising three young grandchildren?!
She was joined in the interview by Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie, Rebbie’s daughter and even the owner of the Arizona spa she stayed at (because that’s not weird at all) while she spoke from a piece of paper.
Yeah….
She also spoke on yesterday’s ruling that put grandchildren, Prince, Paris and Blanket (real name: Prince Michael Jackson II; in case you believed “Blanket” was his real name) into the temporary care of another grandchild, TJ Jackson, saying that she would be contesting the ruling and that she “told him [TJ] it wasn’t necessary for him to go down and sign up for guardianship, but I don’t know who instructed him to do that … ’cause he wanted me to come home before that happened.”
Oddly enough, TJ stated in court documents earlier that day that Katherine OK’d the move. She added that she felt the case was based on a bunch of lies and she had a feeling she knew who was behind it all.
You can check out a clip of that brainwashing segment here.
Even more interesting, Katherine had full access to communication devices (phones, internet, etc.) but chose not to use them as the resort, the Miraval, released in a statement to TMZ. Katherine’s lawyer had previously argued that she was in a section of the resort that “didn’t allow phones of any kind. Or computers.”
Uh-huh.
2. Prince takes to Twitter on his truth:
Following his baby sister’s footsteps in shouting out his shady family members via Twitter, 15-year-old Prince posted what he says is a group chat between him and other family members, including aunt Janet, demanding that his he hear from his grandmother this past Monday.
TMZ grabbed a screencap (the Tweet has since been deleted) of Prince talking to Rebbie, Janet and Austin Jackson (I have no idea how he’s related to them) saying, “This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!!!”
Janet seems to reply, saying “Don’t let them pls”. There seems to be more to the message, but it wasn’t posted.
He added, “Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth. As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways.”
Hell hath no fury like a teenager scorned.
I’m sure this story is going to get uglier before it gets better…. we’ll keep you posted.
