After 6 seasons as Dr. Mark Sloane, the man whose abs made him a sex symbol and gave him the nickname “McSteamy”, Eric Dane made the announcement Thursday that he will not be returning to the hit ABC series, Grey’s Anatomy.

“I am extremely grateful to everyone at Grey‘s, ABC and Shondaland for the experience and memories”; he said in a statement to TV Line. “I have had over the course of this run. It has been wonderful to work alongside and learn from a creative force such as Shonda Rhimes.”

Dane follows actresses Chyler Leigh (Lexi Grey) and Kim Raver (Teddy Altman) out the door, but will be back for a few episodes for the upcoming 9th season to give him a proper send-off (his TV beau, Lexi died in a plane crash in the season 8 finale).

“After much consideration and conversations, she and I have decided that this is the right time for his storyline to end,” creator Shonda Rhimes also told TVLine. “We’re a big family here at Grey‘s with a long history together and Eric will always remain an important part of our family.”

Well, there goes my last reason to watch.

Does the woman ever rest?

Although she’s in the middle of a tour and the promotion of a new perfume, Lady GaGa doesn’t seem to know when to let up. Case in point: check out the poster of Mother Monster in her upcoming first movie role, Machete Kills.

A sequel to the Grindhouse leftover by Robert Rodriguez, the movie continues the gory life and times of a Mexican vigilante (played by Danny Trejo). Rodriguez posted the announcement, along with the poster today saying, ““I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!”

GaGa followed suit with her own excitement: “Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress ln the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane.”

GaGa’s co-stars in the upcoming film include Mel Gibson, Vanessa Hudgens and Charlie Sheen, who is playing… wait for it…

The President of the United States.

Oh, this movie is going to be crazed.

No release date has been given for the film as of yet.

After taking some due time off to relax and help raise her daughter, Willow Sage, rocker Pink is ready to release some new music to blow our socks off again.

Check out the album cover to her upcoming release, The Truth About Love. The first single from the album, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” is doing quite well, currently sitting pretty in the top 10 of the Billboard pop charts. It’s also been recently released that Pink’s upcoming sixth album will have a duet with UK singer, Lily Allen, who famously retired from music following the release of her second album, It’s Not Me, It’s You in 2009.

Sounds like this album is going to be major!

It’s painfully obvious that there is a lot of craziness in the Jackson family after the release of the letter that expressed some of the members were contesting Michael‘s estate and will last week. Some of it is truly unfortunate (such as the state his three children and whose watching over them) and some of it is just odd (the possible kidnapping and drugging of matriarch, Katherine).

Honest question time: who in their right mind continues to think handing car keys to messy Lindsay Lohan, is a good idea? Seriously?!

Well once again, our favorite train wreck ended up wrecking yet another innocent vehicle yesterday when she got behind the wheel of her black Porsche (I’m guessing it wasn’t the same one as before) while shopping in LA. As she drove through Sunset Blvd, she “tapped” the back of a silver Mustang.

A silver Mustang that wasn’t even moving.

The woman she hit told TMZ that a male passenger in Lindsay’s car told her they were sorry, gave her a phone number and told her they had to go because paparazzi were following them.

The damage was minor to the Mustang; no word on the damage to LiLo’s car.

Does no one notice that this seems to keep happening? Seriously, give the girl some sneakers and tell her to walk. It’s good for her… and everyone else on the road.
