I’m guessing he really didn’t want to have his picture on Instagram.
Comedian Russell Brand will eventually go before a judge in Louisiana for throwing a paparazzo’s iPhone through a glass window back in March, TMZ states. The incident, which happened March 15th, names Russell in a police report after he grabbed the photographer’s phone and through it through the window of a nearby building.
After turning himself in three days later, he joked on Twitter that he couldn’t “bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently” following the death of Apple founder, Steve Jobs.
The Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office will file a misdemeanor charge against him for the damage and if convicted, he’ll face up to six months in jail.
