Following many questions regarding the state of mind Sage Stallone was in before his death last week, his father Sylvester spoke personally to TMZ and asked them and any other news media outlets to quell any “speculation and questionable reporting” about Sage.
“When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain”, he expressed. “Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.”
This comes following many other sectors of the story that ended the life of the 36-year-old. You can read some of them after the jump.
- during a photo shoot back in May, Sage was apparently so “out of it”, that he began taking pictures while the lens cap was still on the camera. Robert Rhine, editor-in-chief of Girls and Corpses magazine went on to tell TMZ that it took Sage 45 minutes to answer his door and that “he could tell right away Sage was “on something” — slurring his words and stumbling around — though he never saw him take anything.”
- despite of what law official insiders told TMZ, Sage’s lawyer painted a very different picture of Sage in his final days, saying that he didn’t drink, do drugs and posted on Facebook 17 hours before his death — which wouldn’t make any sense if Sage was actually dead for days before he was found.
- Sage’s autopsy was completed over the weekend, although the toxicology results won’t be available for weeks. The case has been officially turned over to the Robbery Homicide division of the L.A.P.D. This doesn’t mean there was any foul play — all high profile cases are turned over to that unit.
All in all, this is just an incredibly sad story.
