Kars 4 Kids – Literally

And the hot mess award of the week goes to…

A Kentucky couple were picked up by police this week after trading a baby for a pick-up truck.

Yes, you read that correctly. And yes, drugs were involved.

Jeremy and Jamiee Brown (seen above) traded a 1999 Dodge Dakota for their infant and the baby’s biological mother, Heather Kaminskey, then sold the truck for $800.

More of the crazy after the jump.

Debt Becomes Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson loved to live lavishly, even though he was rumored not to be making what he originally was in his later years. When he died at the age of 50 in 2009, he left a lifelong legacy of music and magic… but he also left a massive debt of $500 million.

However, TMZ has learned that his estate has nearly cleared it all out, paying nearly $475 million of it off. The only debt that remains is tied to his publishing catalog and the executors of his estate predict that it will be paid off by year’s end.

Apparently, there are some things this money will be good for: his mother, Katherine is requesting more money to pay off her attorney and lawyers’ fees, his lawyers’ need to be paid off for covering his business affairs posthumously (about $13.6 million from May, 2010 to November, 2011) and some left over creditors claims and law suits against M.J. before his death.

Looks like he can’t fully rest just yet…

Sylvester Stallone’s Son Dies

There are too many people losing their children this week.

Sage Stallone, son of actor Sylvester, was found dead in his L.A. home early Friday. He was 36 years old.

EW confirmed the story and sources tell TMZ that it seems like his passing may have had to do with drug usage: pills were found near his body. However, they are not sure whether it was intentional or accidental.

Sylvester released a statement through his rep, Michelle Bega and said he was “devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son.”

Sage acted alongside his father in Rocky V as “Rocky, Jr.” as well as the movie, “Daylight”. May he rest always.

Britney Explains Her “X-Factor” Drag Repulsion

Keeping up with the music reality show news, “X-Factor” judges Britney Spears, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato (pictured above with Simon Cowell) explained their reasoning for walking out of a drag performer’s audition of Britney’s hit, “(You Drive Me) Crazy”.

“”I was following [Demi Lovato],” Britney said to a FOX affiliate on Wednesday. “I was taking her lead. She was like, ‘Let’s go,’ and I was like, ‘Okay.’ It was our break anyway. It was dinner.”

And you couldn’t just wait until he was done? You were that hungry?

Demi chimed in as well. “I felt really uncomfortable, and I had to walk away. He [thought] that [he did] such a good job, and I felt so bad. I laughed at first, but I felt really bad.”

Bad auditions are par for the course, people. Rudeness is not. Besides, I’ve heard you both sing live before… and that’s all I’m gonna say there.

You can see the interview after the jump.
