Well, that was fast.

Following the news over the weekend that TomKat were trying to close things quickly between them, the two stars have now reached a settlement in their divorce, TMZ is reporting.

Jonathan Wolfe, Katie Holme’s lawyer, spoke of the resolution and an agreement which “has been signed.  We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.”

Tom only had one major request: to have “meaningful, significant” contact with 6-year-old daughter, Suri.

“We thank Tom’s counsel for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution”, Wolfe added. I’m guessing there’s going to be no real dirt now. More after the jump.

With what seems to be the official end of their marriage, Tom and Katie came together for one last time in a joint statement:

“We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents.”
