In tough times, it doesn’t matter how hard you may have fought: you stand by the ones you love.

R&B star Usher is proving that as his ex-wife, Tameka Foster is going through every mother’s worst fear: her 11-year-old son Kyle Glover is in an Atlanta hospital, fighting for his life after a bad ski accident.

TMZ is reporting that Kyle was hit in the head by someone riding a jet ski while he was sitting in an inner tube on Lake Lanier. Usher immediately chartered a private jet for Tameka to be by her son’s side, even though it has been well documented that their divorce definitely wasn’t an amicable one; Usher even recorded the album, “Raymond v. Raymond” regarding the long standing issues.

Their sources say Tameka was incredibly grateful for his generosity. Let’s hope this all ends well and give a hand to Usher for being quite the stand up man.
