Tom and Katie Divorce: Katie Wants Nothing

Well, this officially puts me on “Team Katie”.

Alright, I was already there, but this is still pretty decent.

Sources connected to TomKat tell TMZ that Katie Holmes is walking away from her marriage to Tom Cruise without any of his money and that’s fine with her. Apparently, the prenup she signed is solely in Tom’s favor and the rumored $15-$20 million payout was just that: rumors.

Andy Griffith Dies

Some of you kiddies may have to ask your parents or grandparents about him.

Television icon Andy Griffith, best known for his roles in “The Andy Griffith Show” and in later years as the wise cracking lawyer “Matlock” passed away today in North Carolina. He was 86 years old.

Ever the humble man, he once said to USA Today magazine, “I know how to write and I know how to act. I’m just not good at anything else.”

Throwing in the factor of his 39 years of television work (not just related to the two shows he’s best known for), 13 movies and 18 music albums (one even garnering him a Grammy), he may have been understating his worth quite a bit. He will be missed.

Some Good News For Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise can probably put that infamous smile to good use on his birthday today: Forbes just released it’s highest paid actors in Hollywood list and the “Mission: Impossible” star tops it, raking in $75 million.

His private life may be in shambles, but his working life definitely is not.

He beat out last year’s leader, Leonardo DiCaprio who came in second with a modest #37 million although that’s less than half of what he brought in last year.

Also on the list: newbies Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson ($36 million) and “Twlight” stars, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, who both brought in $26.5 million (Robert’s girlfriend, Kristen Stewart beat him by about 9 million or so, which ranked her first on the female list).

You can read the full list after the jump.
