She’s had a monster album that hasn’t left the top 10 on Billboard charts since it’s release, a huge reception at the Grammys after a bit of a break and she’s one of the highest regarded artists in quite some time.

Singer Adele, 24, is pregnant with her first child. She broke the news herself on her official website earlier today:

Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx

The father of the baby, Simon Konecki, 36, has been in a relationship with Adele since last year.

Guess this means no more sad songs about lost love! Congratulations to the couple!
