In strange acting news:

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is set to appear in the upcoming season of Showtime’s hit series, “Californication“, according to Huffington Post. The  43-year-old (born Brian Warner) will be playing himself in the one-episode stint, set to air during the show’s seventh episode of the sixth season. Manson has acted before in movies such as “Party Monster” and “Jawbreaker”.

In even stranger acting news:

Backstreet Boys member Kevin Richardson is set to appear in a “a sexy — and violent — movie musical” called “Bloody Indulgent”, where he will be playing a drug-addicted vampire… who sings.

Yeah. You read that right.

The 40-year-old, who recently rejoined the Backstreet Boys after a six-year hiatus, has also acted previously in a movie called “The Casserole Club” where he engaged in scenes of sexual raunchiness.

Marilyn Manson with David Duchovny… and Kevin Richardson… all of that stuff with Kevin Richardson.
