Maybe he’s best left alone.

Actor Nick Stahl‘s wife, Rose told TMZ today that not only will she end the search for her husband, who disappeared for the second time in less than two months, but she will not involve the police in his search, either.

“I’m backing off. He knows exactly where home is. It’s the loving thing to do for him, myself and our daughter.”

Nick left a rehab against doctor’s orders last week and disappeared for nearly two weeks in May, eventually e-mailing friends and saying he was going to rehab.

Let’s hope he finds the peace he’s looking for in the safest way possible.
