If you end up fighting a paparazzo on the day when you pick up your marriage license, could that be some sort of sign not to go through with it?

Hot tempered “30 Rock” actor Alec Baldwin was leaving an NYC courthouse after grabbing a marriage license for himself and fiancee, Hilaria Thomas. The Daily News reported that as they left the courthouse, three photographers were outside, including Marcus Santos, 43. Baldwin apparently told the photogs to step back, which they say they complied to.

Baldwin grabbed another photographer and in an effort to defend him, Santos stepped up:

“I said, ‘Don’t touch him. I knew he was going to attack me. I stepped back, and he kept coming.”

Santos continued:

“He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me — one time, right in the chin. And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. Then he goes the other way.”

Santos filed a complaint with the NYPD against Alec, who has had some issues with paparazzi before. And airline workers.

Hours after the fight (which Alec claimed was self-defense via his Twitter), he was seen walking the streets of NYC… with a white sheet covering him.

Hmmm… violent and crazy on the day you get your marriage license. Hilaria? A word of advice:
