Sometimes life isn’t fair at all.

Reality star Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (or MS), reports People Magazine. In a very sad twist of fate, Jack found out two weeks after the birth of his first child, a daughter named Pearl Clementine, with fiancée, Lisa Stelly.

“I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now?’”; the 26-year-old said. “I’ve got a family and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.”

MS affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord from communication with each other and can cause blindness, loss of muscle control and other debilitating symptoms. Jack has also lost 60% of vision in his right eye, according to the story.
