Time to head back into the Dogpound!

On the cusp of his recent “Celebrity Apprentice” win over Clay Aiken, comedian Arsenio Hall has signed a new deal with CBS Television Distribution to head up a brand new late night talk show. Although rumored for months, the news was officially released today.

In a statement, Hall said, “It’s an amazing feeling to be going HOME to my old friends and colleagues and firing up our ‘Night Thing. Let’s get busy … AGAIN!” in a sweet tie to his original late night series which ran from from January 3, 1989 to May 27, 1994. The new show is set to air in Fall of 2013. In an interesting turn of events, the news about his TV comeback comes almost to the day of the very last airing of the original series.
