Sometimes, miracles do occur.

A toddler managed to escape with only minor injuries after being launched from a stolen SUV during a high speed chase in Lubbock, Texas. The incident happened on Tuesday and was all caught on video taken from inside the police cruiser that was attempting to catch up to the criminals.

Crazier still, after being thrown from the vehicle, the little girl managed to stand up and walk away. From CNN:

Video footage taken from inside the police cruiser chasing the SUV shows the little girl being thrown as the SUV flips, but she immediately stands up and runs after the vehicle through what appears to be broken glass and metal scraps.

The video shows a young woman, identified by Stewart as the child’s mother, rushing from the car to the wobbly child, scooping her up and running away.

“I think anybody who looks at that video would be shocked to see the kid actually stand up and be walking around, and seeming OK,” [Lubbock Police Sgt. Jonathan] Stewart said. “It’s pretty miraculous it was just minor injuries that the child sustained.”

The calamity started after four teens; one 14, two 16-year-olds and a 17-year old, had robbed another teen at gunpoint in the parking lot of a bar.

They were booked on aggravated robbery, injury to a child and other charges. And by the way, two of the teens (one of the 16-year-olds and the 17-year-old) were the parents of the little girl.

Talk about family bonding.
