A Denver police officer says he was injured by a Justin Bieber doll when his girlfriend attacked him during a heated dispute that led to his arrest on domestic violence-related charges after things turned physical.

According to reports, Michael Nuanes, Jr. broke up with his girlfriend and demanded that she leave. When she locked herself in a bathroom and refused to vacate the property, she says he knocked down the door and pulled her hair and punched her ribs, reports Denver 7 News. That’s when the victim hurled a Justin Bieber doll at him.

“Michael Nuanes stated that (his girlfriend) had thrown a ‘Barbie Doll’ at him, which bruised his foot and (said) that it hurt,” the affidavit said. “Nuanes pointed out a ‘Justin Bieber’ doll, which was the item used to injure him.”

Police arrived on scene and arrested Nuanes without incident.
