The latest batch of celebrity hoofers competing for the coveted Dancing With the Stars mirror ball trophy was officially announced today on Good Morning America.
Despite teases weeks ahead of today’s announcement that Gavin DeGraw and Sherri Shepherd would be on cast, DWTS managed to keep the best damn surprise of all: THE RETURN OF STEVE URKEL aka Jaleel White’s big comeback.
Yes, I’ve been waiting for it, too!!! Sadly that didn’t come last year with Emmy-snubbed SyFy flick Mega Shark Vs. Crocosaurus.
Knowing how DWTS likes to remind viewers of their stars’ greatest accomplishments, we’re probably going to see Jaleel White channel his Family Matters character Steve Urkel on the dance floor. We’ll inevitably see other new cast members joining him like Gladys Knight, who will cut the rug to the house band’s samba interpretation of Midnight Train to Georgia, and Gavin DeGraw, who will do the jive to I Don’t Want to Be. Oh, can’t wait for that!
Observe and take notes, these are the moves to beat:
Above, watch a clip of Jaleel White performing the Urkel Dance on Step by Step, not he Family Matters episode where it originally aired, because some shit head disabled the embedding.
