Victory for gays (well, for today)!

From the Associated Press:

A federal appeals court on Tuesday declared California’s same-sex marriage ban to be unconstitutional. The decision will put the bitterly contested, voter-approved law on track for likely consideration by the U.S. Supreme Court.

M.I.A.’s middle finger flip-off at the Super Bowl halftime show with Madonna.

According to TMZ, she may have to payout a hefty fine for the shock gesture.

TMZ reports:

M.I.A. signed a contract with the NFL for the halftime performance, and in that contract M.I.A. agreed to indemnify the NFL for any money it might be forced to pay if the FCC comes down on the Peacock Network.
