Taran Noah Smith, best known for his role as Mark Taylor on hit television show Home Improvement, was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with DUI and possession of marijuana.

According to reports, a police officer noticed a strange smell emitting from Smith’s 1998 Honda Accord and went to investigate. Isn’t it great that Smith’s car was produced the same year his career ended? Nostalgia!

Police were baffled when Smith began shouting, “It’s tool time!” and threatening to have his father, Tim the Tool Man Taylor, press charges. Eventually, authorities were able to calm down the intoxicated actor with the promise of Cheetos and chocolate chip cookies.

Smith, who left the acting world at the age of 16, now runs a California-based vegan and organic foods company (which no doubt comes in handy when the munchies start to settle in).
