Singer Davy Jones, former frontman of 1960s Beatles-lite boy band The Monkees, was found dead in Florida at the age of 66.
Various media outlets are reporting that he suffered a heart attack.
The English-born pop star rose to fame during his ’60s heyday on The Monkees TV series and the band’s hits like I’m a Believer, (Theme from The Monkees), and Daydream Believer.
I guess this means your dream of having Davy Jones play at your prom a la Brady Bunch Movie is now over:
