New details on the Lindsay Lohan Playboy shoot have come out this week, and it looks like we don’t have much to look forward to. The photos are being described as “tasteful” and “classic” (read: boring), and it has been confirmed that the star will not be providing us with any full-frontal nudity. (Is now really the time to start being modest, Lindsay?)

According to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, the shoot was “inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe.” I’m sure that, after Photoshop is employed and all of the freckles and tooth stains and crack pipe burns are removed, Lindsay will look just like Marilyn.

Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig is confident Playboy will produce a “classy spread” (a paradox for Lohan), and claims that fans will “see another side of Lindsay,” by which I’m assuming he means the side that wears underwear and exits cars gracefully with her knees together.
