It’s been nearly two years, and the FreeCreditReport.com band is still at it. The faux-band first appeared in October 2007, and have been the voice and face of the scam site. The latest commercial debuted on Friday:

The lead singer is Canadian-Frenchie Eric Violette–there were some Internet rumours that suggest that he doesn’t actually speak English well, and he doesn’t know how to play the guitar. Those are lies! According to his Web site, he does speak English and is an actor/musician who plays the piano and guitar. He’s also single, and possibly had good credit. Laaaaaadies, make a single file line and no pushing.
