At this year’s Miss Universe pageant, about a billion people will have the pleasure of listening to the voice of an angel sing, and I don’t mean Susan Boyle. I’m talking about someone far more talented. That’s right, Heidi Montag Pratt scored a performance gig on the August 23 global telecast where she will sing Turn Ya Head, off her upcoming debut album Unleashed. This will also be the first time–in the pageant’s history–to broadcast a woman with more plastic in her face and body than in all of the contestants, combined.

Despite the new Miss Universe gig, Pratt’s singing hasn’t been embraced by fans. Shortly after debuting her first single and video, “Higher,” in 2008, online critics slammed her on the web.

“Makes me feel uncontrollably ill,” “beyond pathetic,” and “the crappiest video I have ever seen” were among the comments posted on Usmagazine.com.

And the sad part is, I’m sure those comments were some of the nicer/cleaner ones. I’m sure there were ones like: “Bitch, please,” or “ur a lousy excuse for a person. crawl back into ur moms vagina so u can suck my dick while i bang ur mom,” or “Next that bish,” or “She makes me want to make a snuff film with her.”

Also appearing on Miss Universe will be Celebrity Apprentice star Claudia Jordan, Flo Rida, Kelly Rowland and dancer David Guetta also will take the stage. Celebrity choreographer Michael Schwandt will be working with Montag to prepare for her performance.
