Restaurant named Boobies causes town uproar

The name of a Boise, Idaho (or I-da-ho, as I like to call it) restaurant is the subject of a neighborhood’s fury.

You see, the name of said restaurant is–get ready for this one–Boobies.

But the owners say people have got the wrong idea. The name is a tribute to the owner’s 13-year-old dog, named Boobie.

Even the kids know better. They interviewed local rabble-rouser nine-year-old Dalton Mehl, “My sister told [me] about it, and everybody on the bus started yelling ‘boobies’ on the bus,” he said.

He didn’t mention what school kids yell when they drive by Hooters, though.

Partners Debbie Smith and David Foldesi said it wasn’t their intention to offend anyone.

“That’s why we’ve got pictures of Boobie up on the walls,” Foldesi said. “Everybody’s entilted to their opinion. This is America.”

Oprah Winfrey warns Rihanna: Chris Brown ‘will hit you again’

Oprah Winfrey’s live show on Friday examined the details of the Rihanna and Chris Brown situation and the host offered a stern warning to the beaten singer, “If a man hits you once, he will hit you again.”
Weighing in on the panel discussion was sometimes-lady Tyler Perry, bff Gayle King and sex-crimes prosecutor Linda Fairstein who warns: He could kill you.

“Many of the circumstances in her case were like the early warning signs in the O.J. Simpson case,” Fairstein said. Particularly damning behavior on Brown’s part was the choking of Rihanna and adding “Now I’m really going to kill you”
